COSAIG GROWERS

Based up a wee hill at the back of Glenelg village, Cosaig Growers is a market garden growing hardy produce for our community and beyond. No polytunnels, no dig, all the love!
We have a veg box scheme in the summer months and are nurturing a hillside of blueberries and other fruit that we hope to offer as soon as possible. 2021 was our first year growing flowers, this year we will have a limited stock of dried bouquets and wreaths for sale from mid-November. Follow our progress here and get in touch if you want to ask any questions or have a chat about food!

ABOUT US

Growing veg with care

Cosaig Growers, Kate Wieteska and Jake Butcher, are a market garden with a purpose. Not just growing healthy fresh food, but thinking about the impact we are having as we do it. Learning every day, we are building up the knowledge and skills to create a farm that uses minimal plastic (no polytunnels), respects the health and wellbeing of the soil (no dig), and functions on the principal of people over machinery. Being part of the Glenelg community is amazing -  we are learning, sharing, and growing for and with our neighbours, its the dream! We grow a wide range of vegetables in the summer and have a hillside of fruit that we are nurturing for the future.  This includes lots of blueberries, blackcurrants, plums and apples. This year we will also be building on our flower production with the aim to provide fresh bouquets in the summer and dried flowers in the winter.
